Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside of Highlands, North Carolina, The Vineyards at Betty's Creek is one of the Southeast's most breathtaking destination wedding venues. Surrounded by panoramic mountain views, rolling vineyards, and towering stone architecture, it's the perfect setting for couples dreaming of a wedding that feels both elevated and deeply connected to nature.
Katie and Jared's wedding was a beautiful reflection of that balance. Their day began surrounded by family and lifelong friends before unfolding into an emotional outdoor ceremony overlooking the mountains. As the sun dipped behind the ridgeline, guests gathered beneath the open-air pavilion for dinner, heartfelt toasts, and a celebration that carried well into the evening.
As a North Carolina wedding photographer, my approach is rooted in documenting weddings as they naturally unfold while incorporating an editorial eye for composition and light. I believe the most meaningful photographs are created when couples can fully experience their wedding day, knowing every fleeting moment is being preserved with intention.
